Kerala continues to effectively contain Covid 19 infection in the State, with an excellent recovery rate of over 80%.<br />'' <br />'' Kerala being the State &nbsp;to report the first case of &nbsp;Covid 19 infection in the country, &nbsp;four month ago, now stands in a better position with number of active Covid 19 cases going below 100.Presently 96 &nbsp;patients are under treatment for &nbsp;Covid 19 in the State.A total of 499 &nbsp;positive cases were reported in the State so far.<br />'' <br />'' Out of which 400 people recovered including many elderlies aged above 80 years.The Indian Council for Medical Research &nbsp;lauded the containment strategy &nbsp;of Kerala and said that it would &nbsp;continue referring to the Kerala model for testing and containment strategies for Covid 19.<br />'' <br />'' As more relaxations are coming and also as the State is &nbsp;preparing to welcome the Non Resident Keralaites from abroad, the Kerala Government prefers a more slow and cautious step.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the will continue in full swing across the State as the fear of community spread cannot be ruled out yet.<br />'' <br />'' &nbsp;
