Kerala witnesses a hike in covid figures as it confirmed 4,801 new COVID-19 positive cases today. The test positivity rate has increased to 6.75 percent. 29 deaths were also confirmed due to COVID today, taking the death toll to 48,895 in the state. Bringing respite, 1,813 recoveries were also reported today. At present, 22,910 is the active caseload in the state.
