Kerala witnessed a considerable dip in covid figures as it confirmed 1,824 &nbsp;new COVID-19 positive cases today. 16 deaths were also confirmed due to COVID today, taking the death toll to 46,586 in the State so far. 3,364 recoveries were also reported today. At present, total number of active Covid cases is 22,691 in the state.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Kerala Health Minister Veena George said that the state is ready for Covid vaccination of children between the ages of 15 and 18. All arrangements will be made as per the guidelines received from the Union Ministry of Health. The Department of Health is working to ensure that all children are vaccinated safely. The minister also said that efforts would be made to complete the vaccination of children as soon as possible in the wake of rising Omicron cases in the state.<br />'' <br />''The State Health dept has informed that the Covid vaccination of people over the age of 18 is in its final stages in the state. 97.58 per cent of the total population eligible for covid vaccination has been given the first dose and 76.67 per cent has received the second dose.<br />
