Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has urged construction firms to come up with low cost housing schemes for the homeless poor as part of their corporate social responsibility.Addressing the first state conference of the Confederation of Real Estate Developer's Association of India in Kochi on Saturday, the Chief Minister warned that the issue of the shelter less people is growing into a major social concern with all potential for social conflicts.He said if builders come forward to construct low cost houses, the state government is willing to provide maximum concession with regard to registration and stamp duty.
