In Kerala, a special orientation programme for members of the legislative assembly has been launched by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy at Thiruvanathapuram on Thursday. Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan and speaker G Karthikeyan addressed the MLAs of the 13th assembly of the state. The three day programme aims to impart better awareness to members on legislation, proper utilization of question hour and rules and procedures of the house.
