In Kerala, the second edition of the International Kayaking Championship was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Oommen Chandy at Pulikkayam in Thusharagiri in Kozhikode district this morning. Over 70 Kayaking enthusiasts from different parts of the country and abroad are taking part in the championship, held as part of the Malabar River Festival.Speaking on the occasion, Mr Chandy said, a Kayaking center would be set up in Thusharagiri by the State Tourism Department.
