Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy flagged off the National Games Torch relay at a function held at the Government College ground in Kasargod this morning. The Chief Minister handed over the torch to volleyball player Tom Joseph, marking the beginning of the relay.The torch relay, to pass through all the 14 districts of the state, will cover a distance of about 850 km before culminating in the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala is hosting the 35th National Games from January 31 to February 14.
