In Kerala, all the five accused in the sensational Kiliroor sex scandal case, have been sentenced to ten years' rigorous imprisonment by a CBI special Judge T S P Moosad in Thiruvanathapuram on Wednesday. The case involves luring a minor girl Shaari in 2004 from the parents and sexually exploiting her over a period of time by a group of young men. The girl later died in a private hospital under mysterious circumstances after giving birth to a child. The Judge observed that the crime, abduction and gang rape has shocked the society of Kerala and the five sentenced deserve no mercy.
