Kerala Finance Minister K M Mani has said that the state budget for the next financial year will address problems faced by the agrarian sector adequately.Addressing media in Thiruvanathapuram after pre-budget discussion with experts from different fields he said the growth of state agrarian sector this fiscal was only 0.64 per cent and it is a matter of concern. While secondary sector recorded 6.12 per cent, the growth of service sector of Kerala stood at 11.57 per cent.The Finance Minister said that efforts are needed to utilize the huge savings of non resident Keralities lying idle with nationalised banks. He also said that experts have advised the government to raise retirement age of state government servants from 55 years. However, the government has not taken any decision on this as of now, he added.
