Kerala assembly has been adjourned for the day due to slogan shouting and noisy scenes by LDF opposition. Seeking permission for an adjournment motion, former minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan alleged that the Chief Minister is shielding chief whip PC George and Minister K B Ganesh Kumar who made unparliamentary and derogatory remarks against former minister A K Balan and opposition leader V S Achuthanandan. Chief Minister Oomen Chady said that the views are not that of the Government and the position has been claried time and again. Not satisfied with the reply the opposition started slogan shouting and the speaker had to rush through the proceedings and adjourn the house for the day.
