An all-party meeting was held in Kerala's Alappuzha district today to curb violence and restore peace in the wake of the recent political killings. The all-party meeting was called on by the district collector at the Collectorate. Minister Saji Cherian, who is in charge of the district said that the decision was taken at the meeting to maintain peace in the region and nab the culprits at the earliest. The meeting strongly condemned the two killings and called on the common people to come forward to ensure peace in the district. The minister also assured that there would be no compromise in the investigation and that all the culprits would be brought to justice.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, the prohibitionary orders in the district have been extended till tomorrow. The district administration has proposed to conduct special patrols in areas prone to clashes and tighten vehicle inspections.
