In Kenya, opposition leader, Raila Odinga has urged people to stay away from work today over the disputed election result. Raila Odinga said in Nairobi that it would be a day of mourning for the fallen patriots after a rally in Kibera. The international community has urged calm following the election, which Mr Odinga alleges was fixed.<br/><br/> Yesterday, renewed violence broke out between the supporters of both President Uhuru Kenyatta and the supporters of Raila Odinga. Police fired tear gas in Mathare to disperse the mob. At least 16 people have died in protests in Odinga's strongholds,in violence. The United Nations, Britain and the European Union have beseeched Odinga to send out a message to restrain his supporters from protesting, and instead use legal means to address his concerns.
