This comes amidst protests by Kenyans who are opposed to the deployment on the question of who will fund the deployment and the justifications for sending security forces to Haiti, thousands of miles from Kenya.<br />''<br />''Kenya was scheduled to lead a multinational force backed by the United Nations Security Council to help the Caribbean nation deal with rising gang violence. Burundi, Chad, Senegal, Jamaica, and Belize have also pledged troops for the multinational mission.
