Fortyone year-old Kenyan Mariko Kipchumba won the 2015 Beijing Marathon today. He clocked two hours eleven minutes to achieve the goal. Berhanu Tolcha from Ethiopia came in second place followed by Wirimai Juwawo of Zimbabwe, in the over 42 kilometer run. In women's competition, Ethiopian runner Betelhem Cherenet bagged the title clocking two hours, twenty seven minutes and 31 seconds. Favorite Abebech Bekele from Ethiopia and Sin Yong Sun from DPR Korea won the second and third place . The 2015 Bejijing Marathon, which entered its 35th edition this year, attracted some 30,000 runners.
