Kenyan Foreign Affairs Minister Moses Wetangula has resigned to pave way for investigations into a 13.9 million U.S. dollars fraud that involved buying of an embassy land in the Japanese capital, Tokyo. Mr. Wetangula said he made the decision to resign following allegations against him about procurement and disposal of the property in Japan. This comes barely two hours after President Mwai Kibaki accepted the resignation of Permanent Secretary Thuita Mwangi.
