Kenya: 42 people killed in fuel truck crash

In Kenya, a vehicle carrying fuel has collided with several vehicles on a highway, killing at least 42 people and injuring scores of others in a huge ball of flames. <br/><br/>The accident happened in west-central Kenya on the Nairobi-Naivasha Highway, about 10 kilometers north of Naivasha. <br/><br/>An official with the National Disaster Management Authority said that the truck exploded after it had crashed into several vehicles north of the central town of Naivasha. More bodies are still trapped inside the burned vehicles. Earlier reports said that the truck was carrying highly inflammable chemicals.<br/><br/>President Uhuru Kenyatta expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the accident.
