The Aam Aadmi Party, AAP, Convener Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to the Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi regarding the proposed gas price hike from first of April.
In A letter released by AAP today, Mr Kejriwal has sought clarifications regarding the deal between the Reliance and the Congress and raised questions over the price hike. The AAP Convener has questioned Mr Gandhi, why gas price is proposed to be hiked upto eight dollars when the gas evacuation cost is less than one dollar.
Stating that the rates of food items, power and transportation will be higher due to the hike, Mr. Kejriwal has urged Mr Gandhi to share his ideas on the issue, in public.
Our Correspondent reports that earlier Mr Kejriwal has written a similar letter to BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over the issue. AAP is opposing the proposed hike.
