Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal once again landed in another controversy, during the flag hoisting ceremony on Independence Day celebrations at Chhatrasal Stadium. At the Ceremony, Mr Kejriwal's name was displayed by a formation of children instead of Jai Hind or any other patriotic message. <br/><br/>The photographs was shared on social media, provoking a strong reaction from the BJP. Describing the incident as a misuse of Independence Day celebrations, BJP sought an apology from the Chief Minister. They also accused the AAP government in Delhi for using public funds for self-glorification. Reacting to the charges, the AAP government confirmed Kejriwal's name figured in the display but denied this was done on the instructions of the chief Minister's office.
