The Kedarnath Yatra was halted yesterday following fresh snowfall at the Himalayan shrine and adjoining areas. Rudraprayag SP Barinderjit Singh said that the devotees have been asked to stay in Sonprayag and wait for the weather to clear.
The MeT office has predicted moderate thundershowers, isolated hailstorms and squalls coupled with snowfall at higher reaches till Tuesday.
