Kaziranga national park reopens for visitors today

In Assam , the world heritage site Kaziranga national park reopens for visitors today. Kaziranga has the largest population of the one-horned Rhinos. <br/><br/>Forest minister Pramila Rani Brahma, IT minister Keshab Mahanta and Agriculture minister Atul Bora reopened the park at different range. <br/><br/>A colourful cultural procession was taken out this morning.Visitors enjoyed elephant ride on the first day of the new tourist season.<br/><br/>This year flood caused major infrastructure damages to the park. The world heritage site is one of the after sought tourist destinations in the North East. <br/><br/>Besides the Kaziranga, Pobitora wildlife sanctuary at Morigaon district has also been reopened .
