Kazakhstan has categorically denied reports of a possible deal to supply uranium to Iran. A Foreign Ministry spokesman said in Astana that these reports are baseless and damaging for the reputation of their country. The move came a day after the United States reacted to media reports that a deal between Kazakhstan and Iran about supply of purified Uranium Ore was close to being signed and warned that such a transfer was prohibited under UN sanctions on Iran.<br/>
