<span style="color: #222222;">Defence Minister of Kazakhstan Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermekbayev visited Jodhpur and Jaisalmer yesterday. He is on a four day visit to India and will also travel Delhi and Agra as part of the travel plan to India with a focus on boosting bilateral defence cooperation.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Lieutenant General JS Nain, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command interacted with the Defence Minister and his delegation. The Army Commander said India and Kazakhstan hold a special partnership which is based on trust, confidence and mutual understanding. He said both the countries share a common vision on issues affecting peace and stability in the world.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Kazakhstan Defence Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi tomorrow. Both India and Kazakhstan share common interests of actively combating the threat of global terrorism and maintaining peace. </span>
