Katta, son granted bail in KIADB scam case

In Karnataka, former Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu, his Corporator son Jagadish and Managing Director of Itasca software firm, accused in Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board land scam, were granted bail on Monday. Lokayukta court judge N K Sudhindra Rao granted bail to all three accused on humantarian grounds while imposing certain conditions. The conditions include furnishing of personal bond of five lakh rupees, two sureties of the like sum and not to tamper with prosecution witnesses.Jagadish and Srinivas were also directed by the court not to enter the KIADB office without prior permission of the court and furnish certified extracts of all their bank accounts details from 2007 to till the date summons were issued to them. The court directed Katta Subramanya Naidu and his son Jagadish not to move out of the country for any reason other than for the medical treatment. The court warned that if any of the bail conditions were violated, the accused will be “invariably arrested”. The court then adjourned the matter to Jan 16 next year.
