Ace Indian shuttler Parupalli Kashyap has entered the men's singles semifinals of the Indonesian Open Super Series badminton tournament. Continuing his giant-killing spree inJakarta today, the Indian rallied to shock World No. 1 Chen Long to make the last four grade. Kashyap, ranked 12th in the world, beat the top seeded Chinese 14-21, 21-17, 21-14 in a contest that lasted an hour and three minutes. Coming into this match, Long had a 7-1 head-to-head record against Kashyap. Kashyap's last victory against Long also came in this very tournament in 2012.
