A group of Kashmiri Pandits held a protest at Teen Murti Marg in New Delhi against Pakistan's interference in the internal affairs of India and open support to terrorists. They later submitted a memorandum at the Pakistan High Commission urging the Pakistan government to desist from inciting trouble and violence in Kashmir, with the objective of keeping the pot boiling in the Valley, at the cost of ordinary people of Kashmir and its youth.

The protest was led by the All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), which is a central body for several Kashmiri Pandit organisations in India and abroad. The demonstration was earlier planned outside the Pakistan High Commission in Chanakyapuri but police barricaded a certain stretch of Shanti Path, citing security concerns, therefore the protesters later assembled at Teen Murti Marg.
