In Jammu and Kashmir, the spirit of co-existence and communal harmony cherished by Kashmiris for centuries has survived the winds of fundamentalism and militancy. This was proved once and again by the people and the recent example of it is the election of a Kashmiri Pandit woman Asha Ji as a Panchayat member.
