Veteran Kashmiri Journalist Kh. Sonaullah Bhat died in Srinagar. He was 87. Bhat played a pioneering role in the evolution of journalism in the state and he was the founder and chief editor of prominent daily Aftab. The chief minister of the state Omar Abdullah joined thousands of people in the Nimaz-e-Jinazah of the departed journalist at Lalchowk Srinagar.
