Kashmir valley in Jammu and Kashmir remained peaceful today and no untoward incident was reported from anywhere. <br/><br/>Curfew had been clamped in some parts of Srinagar city, and a few other towns in view of the call for a protest march given by the separatists. Restrictions were also placed in most other areas of the valley. <br/><br/>A large number of para-military and police forces were deployed to prevent any attempt at disrupting peace.<br/>
