In the Kashmir valley, the situation is by and large peaceful today. The authority had imposed curfew in Srinagar and all major towns as a precautionary measures. However, there has been no report of any untoward incident from any part of the valley. The curfew has now been relax ed in Srinagar from 4 p.m. onwards.Meanwhile, the Centre will very soon finalise interlocutors for holding talks with all shades of opinion in Jammu and Kashmir. It may be recalled that after the all party delegation's visit to the state the Cabinet Committee on Security had approved an eight point plan including the appointment of interlocutors for holding talks.
