The latest situation in violence hit kashmir valley was today discussed at a meeting the Chief Minsiter of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah had with the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in New Delhi this evening . Omar, who briefed Dr Manmohan Singh on the efforts by his goverment to restore peace in the valley , is reported to have sought amendment to the Armed Forces Special Powers Act.
