Kashmir valley received the first snowfall of the season. Jammu and Kashmir MeT Director Sonum Lotus said that the snowfall has been reported in the upper mountainous reaches of Gulmarg tourist resort. He said, light to moderate snowfall was also received in mountains of Gurez in Bandipora district and Machil sector in Kupwara district.Intermittent rain across the Kashmir Valley since Saturday have brought a sharp dip in the day temperature in the region.Gulmarg recorded a minimum temperature of minus one degree Celsius.
