In Kashmir valley, one person was killed and three others were injured today when police resorted to fire as a group of protestors defied curfew in Kamarwari area of Srinagar city. In Sekhpura area of Budgam district, five persons were injured in a similar incident. There are reports of protests from Pampore and some other areas even as curfew in Srinagar and all other major towns in the valley continued for the fourth consecutive day. Separatist leader Syed Ali Gillani who was released yesterday, had asked the people to march to Idgah in Srinagar city today. He had appealed people to desist from stone pelting and urged the government to lift the curfew.
