Kashmir integral part of India: Farooq

The Union Minister for Renewable Energy Dr. Farooq Abdullah today reiterated that Kashmir has been and will remain as an integral part of India. Without naming Pakistan, Dr Abdullah said that our neighbour has been creating disturbances which we have been countering unitedly. He was speaking at a public function organized in connection with the stone laying ceremony of the Integrated Solar manufacturing project in Chanwardhal in the Rajnandgaon district of the Chhattisgarh. Commenting on the energy availability in the country, the Minister said the centre has targeted to produce 20 thousand MW solar energy by 2022 and that the UPA government will succeed in making electricity available to all. He called upon the state governments to work towards meeting the energy need of the country.AIR correspondent reports, the proposed project will have the capacity of distributing solar module of 250 MW annually.
