In Jammu and Kashmir, famous tourist resort Aharbal in Kulgam district of Kashmir valley recorded the lowest temperature of minus five degress Celsius. AIR correspondent reports that this is the lowest ever temperature recorded during first week of December. The Met Department told our correspondent that this year cold season has gripped valley well in advance as the cold wave in the Kashmir valley usually starts from 21st December which is also the date for on set of famous Chilai Kalan.
