Kashmir continues to reel under intense cold

Kashmir continues to reel under intense cold. Met Department told our Kulgam correspondent that this is for the first time in last three years that the temperature has dipped so low. Last time it was in 2007 that the muercury dipped to this level in the month of December. During this season, the valley has seen in the intensive cold ranging between minus four to minus six everyday. In the higher reaches particularly in Qazigund, Jahawar tunnel and Kulgam; there is bone chilling cold due to the closeness to Peerpanchal range.
