In Kashmir valley, normal life has been thrown out of gear today due to a bandh called by trade bodies and civil organisations against non-availability of LPG. All shops and business establishments are closed and public transport is off the road. Our Srinagar correspondent reports that gas dealers in the valley have suspended home delivery and point to point distribution of LPG cylinders after recent decision of central government to limit the number of subsidised cyliderns to six in a year., on the pretext of verifying the documents of the customers.
