The Bombay High Court on Tuesday continued hearing on the confirmation of the death sentence awarded by a trial court to Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone Pakistani gunman of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. On the second day on Tuesday, Government Counsel Ujjawal Nikam analysed the witnesses and evidences of the indiscriminate firing carried out by Kasab and another gunmen at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminals Railway station on the night of 26, November 2008. After an hour of break, Nikam analysed the witnesses and facts of the attack carried out by Kasab near Cama hospital.Kasab, who is participating in the hearing through video conference due to security reasons, tried to disrupt the proceedings. Air Correspondent Umesh Ujgare said that Kasab fought with the jail authorities and demanded to appear personally in the court and participate in the hearing. However, Justice Ranjana Desai and Justice R V More dismissed his plea on security grounds.
