Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai on Tuesday again offered Taliban to join talks to bring peace in the country, even as Taliban leadership ruled out negotiations. Mr. Karzai said in a statement to mark the festival of Eid al-Adha, he called on all compatriots who are unhappy to join peace efforts. Taliban supremo Mullah Omar has ruled out a negotiated settlement and vowed to step up their campaign of targeted strikes at coalition troops.
