DMK chief Karunanidhi has said, India must move amendments to US resolution to declare genocide and war crimes were committed by Sri Lankan Army and
administrators. In a letter to Prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Mr M Karunanidhi urged him to address the issue.
Earlier, he reiterated his party's warning to pull out of the Congress led UPA government at the Cetnre if the latter does not carry out the amendments to US resolution against Lanka to be moved in UNHRC later this month.
Meanwhile, protests by students and some Tamil organisations continue in Tamil Nadu against alleged genocide of Tamils in Sri Lanka and condemnation of President Mahinda Rjapakse. They are also demanding creation of seperate Tamil homeland.
