Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has said that he will raise the issue of killing of two Indian fishermen allegedly by Sri Lankan Navy in the past one month with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday. Mr Karunanidhi, who arrived in the national capital on Sunday, said that Sri Lankan Navy should desist from firing at fishermen. Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao arrived in Colombo last night on a visit to the island nation. Ms Rao will discuss with the Sri Lankan government the killing of Indian fishermen allegedly by its Navy. The Foreign Secretary is expected to have a meeting with President Mahinda Rajapksha today. Later in the day, Mrs Rao will meet the Sri Lankan Foreign Minister GL Peires and other officials.
