In the midst of heat the hectic campaigning in Tamilnadu for 234 assembly seats are on, the war of words between DMK Chief M. Karunanidhi and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalitha are not going to die down before April 13 when polling is going to take place in the state. The round the clock monitoring at district levels have really made a tough time for those who believes people vote would be influenced by other means .In Tirunelveli district alone about hundred cases related to violation of model code of conduct have been registered so far. AIR correspondent reports, as the date for polling is nearing the political heat is also touching new peak. While leaders are busy to cover maximum number of constituencies the election officers have also increased their watch dog to avert any malpractices during this time. Meanwhile in Tirunelveli district alone the election officials have seized more than sixty lakh rupees unaccounted money so far to prevent use of money power in the election. In the ongoing campaigning the local leaders are demanding more investment for industrial and power sector to change the face of southern Tamilnadu. In Tirunelveli about 20 lakh voters will decide the fate of six candidates each from DMK and AIADMK and four from congress party in just over a week time.
