Mr Karti Chidambaram, son of former Union Minister P Chidambaram has approached the Madras High Court against a lookout notice issued against him by the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI. The notice has been issued against him three days ago in the Foreign Exchange Management Act violation case involving the INX Media.<br/><br/>Earlier, the CBI had summoned Mr Karti between 27 June and 29 June for questioning, but he sought more time. It is said that, an amount of 10 lakh rupees has been transferred to Advantage Strategic Consulting Private Limited, which the CBI says is linked to Mr Karti, as the professional fees for helping in the Foreign Investment Promotion Board.
