Karnataka Medical Education Minister Dr.K.Sudhakar said that Covid Care Centres will be established to monitor asymptomatic cases. Speaking to media in Bengaluru today, he said that as the cases are increasing since last two weeks, Covid Care Centres will be established to monitor and treat infected persons who are asymptomatic. He held detailed deliberation with senior officials and experts on best practices and effective steps being taken by other States and several decisions have been taken in this regard.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Minister said, strict action will be taken against hospitals which refuse to treat covid patients despite having capability and a detailed guidelines will soon be released regarding number of beds, ICUs and ventilators to be reserved for treatment of covid cases.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Minister said, due to increase in cases in last 2 weeks, the Government is trying to scale up testing to 15,000 to 25,000 samples per day, and it has also been decided to mandatorily test all those who have symptoms of ILI and SARI.
