Karnataka State High Level Clearance Committee clears five projects worth Rs 26,659 crore

Karnataka State High Level Clearance Committee headed by Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has cleared five projects worth 26,659 crore rupees which will create over 13,000 jobs in the state. It was the 55th meeting of the Committee in Bengaluru yesterday that cleared projects that will establish electric vehicle manufacturing plants, a lithium battery manufacturing plant and solar power generating station in the state.<br />'' <br />''In another event, Chief Minister launched the Affidavit Based Clearance Scheme to provide Ease in Doing Business in the state. Known as ABC scheme, this will enable investors to establish their business without any clearances or approvals from various departments for the first three years.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The state owned Karnataka Udyog Mitra will issue an acknowledgement certificate that will be considered as clearances by the department for the initial period of three years. The Chief Minister said that this will simplify regulations and reduce procedural requirements and create a conducive investment environment.</span><br />
