<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka state Health department has commenced RT-PCR testing of all the passengers arriving from abroad. The state Health minister Dr. K Sudhakar inspected the arrangement in the Bengaluru International airport today. Speaking thereafter, the minister said that over 2000 passengers arrive in Bengaluru everyday from other countries and every one of them will be subjected to the RT PCR test. AIR correspondent reports that according to the decision taken in the meeting yesterday the passengers arriving here on international flights will be tested and quarantined. <br />''<br />''Those with negative report and asymptomatic will be home quarantined and tested again on the seventh day of arrival. Those with negative report but symptomatic will also be home quarantined and tested on the fifth day. But those who are reported Positive will be hospitalised. A separate Hospital block is made available to such travellers. The minister Dr. Sudhakar informed that the new variant Omicron virus spreads much faster than the Delta virus and hence stringent measures are taken to screen the international flight passengers. He also informed that the antibodies in the frontline warriors and health workers are found depleted after seven to eight months since the second dose and hence Chief Minister Bommai during his meeting with the Union Health Minister tomorrow will seek advice on providing the booster dose to them. </span><br />
