Karnataka stands at 11th position in the country with 170 active COVID-19 cases, with growth rate of 6.5 per cent as against the national average of 12.90 percent. The Primary Education Minister Suresh Kumar informed that tough measures are taken to implement the lockdown and police have seized 24,000 vehicles and over 50 per cent roads are blocked in Bengaluru. <br />'' <br />'' He also informed that Padayanapura and Bapuji Nagar municipal wards in the city are sealed completely to contain the pandemic. Addressing media persons after a video conference with Prime Minister, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa informed that till April end lockdown norms will not be relaxed. He further added that 588 check posts are created at inter-state borders to regulate vehicle movement.<br />
