Karnataka reports 761 new cases of Covid-19

Karnataka reported 761 new Covid-19 cases during the last 24 hours. At the same time, 812 people were cured from the infection and discharged from various hospitals in the State. At present 9,119 active covid patients are taking treatment across the state.  Seven people lost their lives due to COVID-19, taking the total fatalities in the State to 12,131. AIR correspondent reports the vaccination dry run will be conducted in 263 locations in Karnataka today.<br />'' <br />''Speaking to the media in Bengaluru yesterday the State Health Minister Dr. K.Sudhakar said that a detailed discussion was carried out with the Central government regarding preparation for the distribution of Covid vaccine.  The dry run will be conducted in seven locations in each district. <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The dry run will be held at 24 district hospitals, 20 medical colleges, 43 taluk hospitals, 31 community health centers, 87primary health centers, 30 urban primary health centers and 28 private health centers across the State. Once the actual vaccination process begins, 6.30 lakh healthcare workers serving in both government and private sector who have registered for vaccination will be administered the Covid vaccine. The minister said that the window for registration is still open.</span><br />
