<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka reported 406 new COVID positive cases and 306 discharges after recovery from the infection yesterday. There were six deaths due to COVID-19. There are 5,792 active cases in the state out of which 125 are in ICU. Bengaluru Urban district contributed 256 positive cases and four deaths. The state has a positivity rate of 0.68 per cent and case fatality rate of 1.47 per cent. The Health Department took 55,626 RT-PCR tests and 4,009 Rapid Antigen Tests yesterday.<br />''<br />''As part of the vaccination programme, 15,786 health care workers and frontline warriors were inoculated achieving coverage of 29 per cent.
