Karnataka reports 36 new COVID 19 cases, conducts over 1 lakh tests

<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka has reported 36 new COVID 19 positive cases today morning. Bengaluru Urban has 12 new confirmed cases, Davangere six, Uttara Kannada seven, Dakshin Kannada, Chitradurga and Bidar three each, Vijayapura and Tumkur one each. Medical Education minister in the state Dr.K Sudhakar has tweeted that the state has conducted over one lakh tests for corona virus.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports that Dr. Sudhakar has also tweeted that the state will have 60 labs to test the virus by this month end and can conduct 10,000 tests per day. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has launched an awareness campaign to educate citizens of Bengaluru for self monitoring of pendamic symptoms.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Naming the post lockdown management of COVID 19 as Pranavayu programme, the city corporation is creating awareness of ways to test influenza like illness by using finger pulse oximeter, a device that displays oxygen saturation in the blood and heart rate of the patients. A drop in oxygen saturation below 90 percent is a clear sign on developing Severe Acute Respiratory illness that is fatal for COVID patients.</span><br />
