<span style="color: #222222;">In Karnataka, 1839 new Covid-19 positive cases were  reported while 439 patients were discharged from various hospitals after recovery during the last twenty four hours. 42 more corona deaths were reported during the period and this is the highest ever since corona outbreak in the State. <br />''<br />'' According to the State Health and Family Welfare report, among the new cases, 1172 from Bengaluru, 75 from Dakshina Kannada, 73 from Ballari, 51 from Bidar, 45 from Dharwad, and 41 from Raichur District. The total number of positive cases has  gone up to 21,549  and total number of recovered patients has risen to 9244 in the State. A total number of  11966  active cases are under treatment in various hospitals in the State.  The total number of deaths has risen to 335.  226 patients including 124  from Bengaluru  are in ICU. 17,592  swab samples were tested in the various district and taking the total to 6,89,526. There is no new case reported from the Bagalkote, Chitradurga and Kadagu district today. </span><br />
